Duration: 12+ month contract position
Location: Painted Post, NY         

Job Title: Planview Senior Systems Analyst  

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience      
 

Summary:

  • The Planview system support analyst will provide application support across the enterprise. This support will include, but is not limited to, system configuration, system support, user support & training. This role will also partner with various divisions to gain an understanding of their business processes and how the Planview toolset will support their strategic roadmap and enable efficiency within their business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise System Administration of Planview Enterprise One, Lean Kit, Project Place, & Spigit
  • License and user permission management
  • Enterprise configuration of Planview
  • Administer Planview SOX compliance process
  • ServiceNow queue management and ticket resolution including working with vendor and IT on technical issues
  • Manage Planview invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain content for the purpose of training the consumers of the too
  • Conduct training across the enterprise
  • MS Power BI dashboard and reporting development and maintenance
  • Participate on Planview enterprise projects as needed
  • Translate enterprise needs and best practices into tools & systems
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of available tools and methods
  • Participate in development of roadmap
  • Engage in change management activities; working closely with Leadership, Resource Managers, Project Managers, and Division Engineers
  • Release management of Planview
  • Govern/maintain the various Planview environments

 

Education & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience, preferably with software/system support
  • BS degree in IT, engineering, business or related subject
  • Demonstrated technical skills and knowledge

 

Technical Qualifications:

  • Technical curiosity for system capabilities
  • SharePoint expertise
  • MS Power BI Dashboard development
  • ServiceNow queue management
  • Planview (Enterprise One, Lean Kit, Project Place) knowledge
  • SQL knowledge preferred

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to reach out across the organization and communicate with people at different levels, with diverse needs and agendas
  • Self-motivated and results oriented mindset with experience in project management, software and application development methodologies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven success working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proven experience in managing multiple vendors
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Ability to train others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Change management experience with certification a plus
