We are assisting our client in Renton, WA, in staffing Learning Support Coordinators for a 4 month contract assignment (high possibility of extension).

 
 

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00   

We are hiring for two positions. Please see shift/ home base location below.


1. Renton, 9:30a-6:00p, M-F
2. South Park, 5:30a-2:00p, M-F

This does require client onsite presence.

 

You may be asked to drive to one of the other sites if required. (Motor Vehicle Records check and reliable vehicle required)

 

****This role is very labor intensive and includes walking of up to 5 miles per day, bending, stooping, crawling, and heavy lifting.


Job Summary
The Learning Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the learning environment, both in the classroom and also lab settings, for a large manufacturing company. The ideal candidates are experienced and knowledgeable with following processes, delivery of superior customer service, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Their focus is to ensure instructors are able to conduct their classes without issue, and all logistics surrounding the learning environment are well organized and in teach ready condition at all times.

The Learning Support Coordinator role requires the following behaviors: high-touch relationship building and communication during frequent regular personal interaction necessary to build/maintain relationships; understanding of process documents and the ability to follow them; quick responsiveness to customer requests in order to provide in the moment resolution to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; frequent interaction with instructors to address learning environment needs/challenges; immediate collaboration, quick response, research, resolution, follow-up, and communication; high attention to detail, and organizational abilities are critical to ensure client satisfaction is maintained. This role is very labor intensive and includes walking of up to 5 miles per day, bending, stooping, crawling, and heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities
• Classroom material, tool, and equipment deliveries in manufacturing locations throughout the Puget Sound.
• Point of contact for material requests, production control and issues resolution.
• Maintain a physical presence and perform duties on customer’s sites during support hours.
• Demonstrate superior time management skills as required for independent field work.
• High level of attention to detail while maintaining and continually supporting classrooms, labs, and conference rooms.
• Ability to perform basic computer and audio/visual trouble shooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Inventory control and restocking of tools and supplies.
• Work with Tool Room Manager’s to ensure delivery and calibration of Certified Tools.
• Monitor Classroom/Lab schedules to ensure appropriate supply and materials levels.
• Order specialty lab items and parts as needed.
• Clean work areas and classrooms including dusting, sweeping, emptying trash, erase white boards, and organize cables per safety requirements.
• Submit and manage service requests for furniture, HVAC, janitorial needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer service in words, appearance and actions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management ability.
• Flexibility in working in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to be adaptable and responsive to client requirements and needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
• Basic computing skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation. (MVR check required)
• Handling of hazardous cleaners may be required. Appropriate training and protection equipment are provided.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently.
• Personnel will be required to work on client owned or leased property and must be able to meet standard identification requirements and agree to ethical and professional conduct guidelines. Additionally, computer, security, and ethics training onsite attendance are required.
